the brammo site is nice but it takes bloddy forever to load on a slow connection

Yeah. I really dig the Zero DS as well, but the battery pack is too low voltage. That's why I decided that if I get an electric, it will be a custom. Which is why I bought the baghira (conversion in a few years.)

think there not going to the high voltage for safety

last thing you need is some one that has no idea about things electrical ..
with his fingers in the goodies

the general public's lack of understanding of electrical things
just scares me with these new cars coming out with big battery's

i have been seeing the big time screw up's on motorcycles and wiring in factory's
and radio stations for 50 years ...and i have seen some real dandy's
by people that were supposed to know better......

Their new year model is going up to a 58 volt BRUSHED system, but a 96v brush-less outperforms the crap out of that. It makes it so much easier to achieve high range and still have high speed capability.

Love electric stuff, although I've considered building a steam powered baggy instead :D
