Quebec City trip

Postby DEmark » Mon Jul 05, 2004 4:44 pm

I rode my Baghira to Quebec City and back this weekend. 1340 miles in four days, try that with your stock saddle. Lotsa bikes in Quebec, mostly Harleys. The Baghira drew a crowd where ever I parked it. Everyone asked alot of questions, but I couldn't understand much, it's a French speaking province. Quebec City is cool! It's like a european city, very old, very French. I wouldn't want toget caught there in the winter though.....

I am sure it drew a lot of crowds. The BMW R1150GS and now 1200GS are big up there because of the number of unpaved roads. Those are pricy bikes. They were probably wondering where they could get a bike like yours.

Yeah, I saw a lot of GS BMW's up there, lotta Harleys too. Lots of bikes on the road, lot of women riders. I guess the riding season is so short, everyone tries to make the most of it. Heres another picture:
