Hi Z,

Welcome to the forum! I'm in Fife and ride a Mastiff (very similar to the Baggy) but not the best person to ask for technical advice!

For a workshop manual, search google for 'service_manual_engine_4nn-muz-660-e-yamaha' and download the PDF. That's a great source of info and should be a big help.

Good luck with the build!

bought an r50s bmw in 1975 in a big box and restored it
drove it 165,000 miles
its back in the box ready to be redone again

in the box as a fixer its worth more than i had in it the first time i redid it

as a daily drive in good shape its worth more than most want to pay for a bike
