Powerdynamo was a company which evolved of the company MZ-B.

MZ-B were some people that were from the MZ factory.
They produced some bikes after the end of the GDR, like the RT 125 classic.

It had a russian 2-stroke engine. They built about 600 pcs, so no big financial success.
After some time, they concentratred on selling MZ and Jawa spare parts.
Later they developed the powerdynamo ignition and alternator systems.
They used some parts for their system from the supplier VAPE in Czechia.

2009 they closed the comany and sold all their knowledge and rights to Vape. Since then Vape sells all these systems themselves.


And about the logo:

If it is a powerdynamo system, the rotor comes from Vape. So it might be a logo from them. But I cannot really see the logo on this little picture....
