I went to Flander's once looking for a brake lever for my Baghira. The owner was really nice and searched his entire stock to find a close match to no avail. Is there a part number for the cables or do you just ask for MZ Baghira cables?
Thanks, Ed

Just ask for the MZ Baghira cables. They'll custom make them while you wait.

BTW, on the other interchange parts thread, (I forgot this one was around). I mentioned that I got http://www.flandersco.com to make me a set of clutch and throttle cables. They now have the templates to make up a set without the actual cables to duplicate. So you can just order them now from them.

Just my luck! they don't like MZ owners in FL!!
Reply i got a few min ago! does anyone know what specs say, Motion Pro would need to make one.

Call them. Motion Pro does not have the specs but Flanders does. Im positive of this because they used my original cables to write out the specs. They probably looked up MZ in the Motion Pro catalog but didn't see it.

Hey yawl! FYI If you need a clutch cable for the Mastiff (anyway) The cable for the 01 to 04 (I think) 660 Yama Raptor will work! its 1.5" too short though! isn't that a common problem!! The eng end is fine but the lever end is a big button not the little one that fits in the brass insert. Got all the boots spring chaff, heat guards the MUZ one does but got to be rerouted to work. Much stouter too. Anyway has me back on the road till my order gets in from the UK. $12.00 + ship off the web. M Pro PN 05-0271 or if you can find what # is 2" longer from M Pro its a super will fit.

You can also call Motion Pro and order a custom Raptor cable with the small end (give them exact size measurements) and tell them make it 2" longer.

They make REALLY nice cables.

Any decent shop can just order them once you have those numbers.
 If you get stuck call SF MOTO in San Francisco and just have them send you some.

Hello All,

I just picked up a 1998 Mastiff and I've learned tons from this site. The first part I bought was the front brake light switch
from KTM and it turned out to be $18.95 US. Was a bit more than I would have liked, but I needed it.

Well the part number for the KTM LC4 front brake light switch was:
510 110 500 00

I've read on here that BMW has an alternative, but wasn't able to find it.

Thanks and love the new to me bike

Under $20 for any part on the MZ is a bargain! Its a microswitch used on almost every modern European bike with front disc brakes.
If you can't get the microswitch - you can also fit a "banjo bolt switch" in the brake line.

I don't post as often these days but still love my Baghira Black Panther. 4 years and 14k ( 99.9% in town use) and still can't give it up. :smt006

oh - Anybody got a nice black fairing or black rear fender? Mine have "clumsy friend" damage.

My buddy (posts on here as DrJ) needed a headlight for his baggy. He went down to his local KTM dealer and browsed through a bunch of parts books and found the actual part # for the headlight that works.

Headlight Assembly KTM part# 59014002000 (all numbers)
The KTM unit fits perfectly and looks the same. The only difference is his original headlight lens is glass and the KTM replacement has a plastic lens. I wonder if there is a KTM part# that is a glass headlight??
