Postby kiwien » Sat Apr 19, 2014 6:15 am

Hello i am a proud new owner of a mz ts 150
Im having problems about getting the chrom ring on to the headlight, When i try to assemble it, it will always be sitting Kinda crooked, sov that one side will fit perfectly and the other side will be sitting about 2 cm. Longer out than supposed to, how do i get this right?

the shell is not round ...you just have to play and fiddle with it some times there a real pain

the one on my 1953 bmw is a beast to get refitted
past owners wrecked it toooo many times

Have you ever seen the chrome ring fitted to the headlight bowl? Or did it come dissembled? It could be the wrong ring, it should be perfectly circular - perhaps someone's distorted the headlight bowl.

They clip in top first, then the attachment at the bottom pulls together with the 6mm screw which is at the very bottom of the light unit. 2cm is a LONG way off being correct. Got any pictures?

MZ had 2 different chrome rings.
One for the TS models, one for the ETZ models. they are slightly differnt in diameter.
Maybe you have the wrong one.
