ES250/2 Oil Change

Postby Harley_Stan » Tue Aug 19, 2014 6:10 am

Hi all, I have just acquired a 1971 ES250/2 and not knowing the history wanted to drop the oil and give it a fresh refill.

Can someone give me a heads up on the drain plugs as there seem to be a couple under the engine. I guess the level is measured by the small screw in the left casing however I am a little confused as to why there are more than one drain bolts.

Any help would be appreciated

Stan,
Looking at the bike from the right hand side of the bike the first bolt is the oil drain plug, the furthest is the gear change detent bolt. As far as I can remember from the ES I had. That is the layout on the TS anyway. Hope this helps.
