I need a Left foot rest bracket

Postby 253bowser » Wed Aug 24, 2022 7:33 pm

I am a new MZ owner and purchased a 500 country about two months ago. Well im also stupid and put my kickstand down in a gravel parking lot. The aluminum bracket snapped just above the kickstand bolt. I had it welded back together but its far from perfect and i would love to get a solid part to replace it. I have looked at gabors.com and they only have the Right foot rest carrier i am in need of the left one. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks all

i sent link that may help
the other option is to fab some steel into a home made replacement one
i am not happy with these in aluminum they break too easy
and kicking this bike to start it is a joke and on the side stand will
get you a broken keg use the center stand

Bump start down a very steep hill in 2nd gear is best if its set for a while

I think that weld looks pretty decent to be honest and i'd trust it... If you wanted the original look I suppose you could file it down a bit.

But if you really need a replacement, I think the 251 saxon models use the same bracketry?? :?: :?:

Left foot kicking over here is HARD
this is the only bike i have ever owned that's on the left

the old 1960s bmw spoiled me if the mag is adjusted proper right hand or right foot
works they were on left but but kicked standing beside bike on the left side
