FCR's

Postby NortonChris » Tue Sep 20, 2005 9:22 pm

As I start to read the manual for my Skorp's carbs, the more I want to chuck them and get a pair of Keihins. These were a great upgrade for my old Norton. How many have done this on their MZ? How'd the transplant go?

Thanks,
Chris

Is it recommended to upgrade the connecting rod inside the engine if you install FCR's?

I don't know of anyone recommending a stronder con rod with the fcr's, however Galen at Bikeworx did tell me that a stronger con rod should be installed if a higher rev limiter was installed.
