Tour handlebar mounts

Postby Bertram » Tue Dec 22, 2020 2:24 pm

I am looking for a pair of Skorpion Tour handlebar mounts that mount off of the fork legs. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Dave thank you for the links. Just a few more questions did you go with the 40mm rise or 70mm? I plan on using my stock handle bars, are you using your stock
handle bars? I am trying to make my Skorpian Sport little more user friendly for a 65 year old rider. Merry Xmas to you and your family stay safe.

mine were stock from factory and mounted at top of steams
had a lot of fun getting them twisted around to get a rise
and used the old bars from my Saxon Tour
had to cut them in the middle
picture later today as its hard to explain

Dave, you legend!! who would have thought to cut a 1 piece handlebar to sort out the rise problem...
I was trying to sort the exact issue a few months ago

make a solid rod to insert in the bars in the middle or the flex will SCARE you
and i made a cover to hide the cut // cover is map or watch holder

clamps to hold the clock mounting plate and hide the rusty gas pipe brace
are from the clamps for a brace in a trail bike H/B
it was a zoo to get it all apart and back tizzola is a slip fit thing and hard to get apart once it been clamped down
put a glove on your HAND and use a piece of pine 2x4 to beat them apart at right angle ((shop rag the other end in a vice))
to the way there locked together do not use heat
