I have the MSR pro guards on mine, had to trim the levers a bit, but they have saved it twice on crashes. also drilled and tapped the axles and mounted skate board wheels. once again, saved the bike when it went down hard. it slightly scuffed one of the rear side panels...

Acerbis are bringing out some SM specific handguards any time now. Aluminium spine with plastic deflectors and also replaceable sliders on the outside edges. Apparently they give slightly better clearance for the larger master cylinders used on SM as opposed to dirt bikes so may be ideal for the Baggy. They are a bit pricey though. From memory about £60 plus another £25 for the specific mounting kit.

Great idea on the wheels.

I ordered a set of handguards from Bikeworx. They come with the plastic guard also.
