purge cannister

How do I remove my purge cannister and how will it affect/effect performance? Also, I have never used my choke mechanism. Can I remove this also? Just trying to drop a little weight. If this doesn't work I guess I can try jogging to drop some weight off my belly.

hello
if you do remove it make a drawing of how it all goes and keep the parts
some time in the future you may have to have the bike inspected
and they may make you put it all back on ..... and give it all to the next owner if you sell as the parts may some day be unobtainum and then a nice bike will be junk because they will not let you run it .....
