clutch cable

Postby edec » Sat Oct 13, 2007 6:47 pm

If my clutch cable were ever to break again on my Baghira, who could I get one from (I'm in the US) and how hard would it be to convert my clutch cable/lever to something more common?
Thanks, Ed

send them the old one and they can use it as a pattern
to make a new one
be sure to tell them what it fits as they may already have one made

good info dave. I bet some Yamaha product uses the same cable. most clutch perches are the same, if you find out a Yamaho off road bike uses the same engine end and length, then there are many options for very nice aftermarket perches. just have to do something with the mirror.

I WAS AT MY Kawasaki DEALER TODAY IF YOU NEED NICE HANDLE BAR PERCH'S

LOOK AT THE NEW Kawasaki 2007 Versys THE HANDLE BAR FITMENTS INCLUDING
SWITCH GEAR LOOKS LIKE IT WILL FIT BOTH MY RT125 AND SAXON TOUR
THE PRICE FOR THE SWAP MAY BE A POCKET BOOK BUSTER BUT I THINK
THIS STUFF WILL FIT ... MZ MIRRORS MAY NOT FIT THE THREAD
