project 660 still alot of work to do

Nothing special. Previous owner(s) applied 10hp worth of stickers. Not really sure how to remove them without damaging the paint. Not super worried about it either.

Has a couple of issues still, but I'm working them down!

Its got original short fork gaiters you know they are about 2 inch long

If you check out images online you will see that they usually have full length ones too.

They are worth fitting especially given the amount of salt they tip on the roads over here. :shock:

Things worked out pretty well, the weight saving is around 11 or 12lbs in total.
To bolt on the seat was rather fiddly but anything else was a straight bolt-on job.
How about your bike?
This blue Skorpion above looks cool, too. Love the bar end mirrors on it!

Good to hear from you.

Bikes are good. My Sport is now a Sport/Tour with Tour subframe/seat/exhaust but with Replica wheels.

The Replica is complete (less a little paint work) and running as of this summer. Hope to find some new carbs at some point. Running flatsides on the Sport/Tour and love them.

I have a 3rd that I'm building in the cellar which will have Honda wheels and forks, mix of Baggy and Replica exhaust. That will be another year before it see's the road.

A fourth long term project is started (oil in the frame, another lightweight subframe, R6 wheels) and thinking about a SR/XT500 engine.

that sounds like a lot of work with some nice ideas!
Carry on, spending time in perfectioning your bikes is always a worthwhile investment in fighting workaday life's dullness.
