MZ Dealers in So Cal

Postby hksigman » Tue Jan 11, 2005 9:03 pm

Im in San Diego and tryin to locate a MZ dealer near me. European Cycle Specialties was one but they just got bought out for their Ducati and Aprilia dealership rights.

Does anyone know of any other dealers with 2004 or 2005 bikes in stock in the So Cal area?

Im lookin for a reduced height black panther or street moto.

thanks

What happened to European's MZ stock? Did OC Powersports take that too?

I saw a 125 SM recently at Burbank Kawasaki.

The only other dealer I know of is Douglas Motorcycles in San Bernadino.

Good luck,

I havent been to Europeans store in awhile. I know the ONE 2001 Street Moto in Red that was on ECS website is now on OCPowersports website.

Did ECS have many MZ in stock? Their web showed two 2001 bikes and that was it.

I know when i called OC they were still movin the stuff from ECS to their shop.

A salesman at Chaparral told me his friend owns an MZ dealership in Lemon Grove. Never heard of it but I'm sure he said it's by San Diego. I'll see if ... here it is. Mortorcycle City 619 589-1602. The guy's name is Frank. Bought mine at Douglas in San Berdoo, but when battery died in less than one month they wanted to charge me to "diagnose" the problem. Put in new maint. free batt. myself and no problems. Starts easier than new and headlights even brighter.

thanks for the tip. I actually found that place and was at first a little worried since it seems all he deals with are trade ins.

I met frank and his wife monika and will probably be buyin a used 2001 bp from them They told me $4300 out the door for the bike with 5k on the clock.
