2002 Baghira No spark-need help

I have a 2002 Baghiraa 660 and I am having the same with no spark. I got this bike from a buddy of mine and he said that is ran one day and then the next he went out to start it and it didn't.

The neutral safety switch wasn't working, but I got it working now and the neautral light comes on and it cranks over like it was supposed to. It has strong compression when it cranks but doesn't have any spark. Where do I go from here? How of can I test and see if it is the coil, or CDI Box? I took the spade connectors off of the coil...shouldn't the red wire be getting some voltage when I press the starter button and turn it over?

i had the power wire to coil.. fall off the coil on my traveller
the spade had lost its grip ..

DID YU EVER SOLD THAT PROBLEM ?? IT COULD BE THE PICK UP ON THE CRANK , THE CDI BOX , THE COIL...…….. YOU HAVE TO TEST EACH ONE .. AS I AM HAVING A SIMILAR PROBLEM... PUT A TIMING LIGHT ON THE SPARK PLUG WIRE AND SEE WHEN WHAT RPM..IT STARTS IF A T ALL?
