MZ/MuZ Riders

I'm planning to replace the stock exhaust on my 2003 Baghira and hoped someone could recommend an alternative, something lighter and a little louder. I've seen road legal GPR exhausts advertised by a UK company, does anyone have any experience of them? Or does anyone in the UK have an exhaust for sale?

have you considered chopping your original exhaust for the connection 2 into 1 pipe and buying a slipon,,youll have a choice of many then,,
its all about the money and what you can afford,,iv used the gpr connecting pipe and ive custom shortened a carbon end can from a 900 fireblade c1/c2
i found the honda cbr fireblade c1/c2 (old model 98/99)
and kwak zx900 c1/c2 has a perfect match for the three bolt holes on the gpr link pipe?

this is my homemade off road pipe
you can use your standard pipe by cutting off the branch,think you end up with a 2" dia outlet,find a suitable link pipe and end can to go on it.
i also have a bsm pipe for road use,from dave silvers,which has a removable db killer

anything would be lighter

What about Carb. jetting with the open Cans ?
What were the changes you had to make ?
Stock carb., Mod stock, or Aftermarket carb. ?

Hi bluerob, I bought a second hand baghira exhaust but didn't get as far as taking a saw to it. The tri oval looks a good system, would any carb mods be needed?

GPR exahusts are generally just plug and play items. Fit it, start it, go have fun on it...

Your going to have to get more out of your intake, Carb. Air intake, More Air & Fuel flow !

Well I've just ordered the GPR tri oval system from Moto Legends, now I better get reading through the posts on carb mods. Thanks bluerob, good carb post den, and BigDog702; you are so right

i would not even think of touching the carbs if you buying one of those exhausts unless it recommends it.
There built as a direct replacement.
If anything i would check you have the option of removing the db killer for the crazy lazy summer days out

Well things did not go to plan with the GPR exhaust as the mounting brackets did not line up, the spring hooks were too close and the silencer leaked, as this is not the first time with the Baggy exhausts they could not be sure another pipe would be good so I'm back to square 1 and waiting for the refund to clear.

Has anyone actually cut open a original Baghira exhaust? I got one off e-bay recently and hope to start a mod on it soon but I'd like to see or know is this is a good idea or not.

I ordered a GPR can for my Baghira and it fitted perfectly. It was a 10 minute job to replace. I did not mess with the jets and it seems to work perfectly well.

I think that you must have a wrong Can. I also order aftermarket header pipes that cleaned up the front-end. I bought these from a company in Germany.
