PB blaster ?
It was running some serious revs ... the foam should have been burnt and spit out the exhaust well before ... oh wait, vacuum is highest when its hottest and @ idle, not when you got 6k on the tach. Likely it got sucked when I shut the throttle and it was spooling down.
Oh crap, looks like I melted my rings to the piston wall being careless with the foam in the filter not the jetting ...

Its getting worse and worse for me now doesn't it ... actually I'd rather not have made a jetting error ... so I'll take the foam over jetting.

Cool.

The burnt rings bike had hexaginal 130 mains, the original 48 pilots and 165 main in the right carb.

The Other bike has slotted 145 mains, 42.5 VM style pilots and 165 main too. Is the 145/165 set lean ? Can I run it without risk of burning that one too ? It has paper filter in air box - close copy of the original and a super trapp pipe - full system.

I am itching to put it together and ride it.

Thanks.
