Sprocket compatibility

Postby Kcfirebolt » Thu Jan 29, 2015 5:46 pm

Hi all.

Gordon Hamilton has extra sprockets from Sprocket Specialists. They each had a stamp saying "187z" on them.

Sprocket Specialists have them in stock, but they do not show application for MZ Skorpion. According to their database, this sprocket works with Benelli, Cagiva 650 ALAZZURRA and Ducati 750, 906 PASO. SPORT bikes.

Does anyone know or can any one confirm that the 187z is interchangeable with Skorpion wheels?

Thanks all.

Best wishes,

Charles

I'm pretty sure they work. :D Hi Charles. Give Sprocket Specialists a call and ask them just to make sure.

Thanks Gordon! I did call them and they aren't sure. I think you're right. Just trying to triple check.

Order one that you need and now that you have an extra sprocket carrier you can fit it up without taking the bike apart. If it doesn't work, ship it back for a refund.

JT Sprockets is a pretty popular brand and you may be able to find a cross reference that will answer your questions. Here's the model number for the 43T on my Skorpion. JTR18.43
