I have a aftermarket exhaust on. should there be any setting done to the carb because it does smell a bit rich as if its running very heavy on fuel. I have had a look on the reviews and specs and i should be getting 17 km per L. how many km do you guys get on a L

mine goes about 95 miles and needs a fill up so i am thinking about 35 mpg in USA gallons
at 115 miles mine becomes a pusher but i am getting to old to push it..
do not forget to put tank lever back in the run position after fillup
so you do not run out and discover you have no reserve

its a pain parkersburg wv to clarksburg wv at night requires you carry 2 gallons in the
buddy box taking up space you need for other stuff because of a lack of open service stations

Have you checked that your choke is not sticking in the on position? Is it likely that someone has been inside the carb and maybe overcompensated for the freer flowing exhaust by going up too many sizes on jets, what is the sparkplug colour like?

It should get a lot better than that. My Skorpion is more economical than my ETZ150!

My Traveller has never got below 150 miles from full to reserve even when riding enthusiastically. I have got 200 miles on occasion on tour before hitting reserve.

Rode my Baghira from Orlando to Tampa to Orlando.....mileage of 51 mpg with a gearing of 15/43 riding between 70 & 80 mph maybe.

Hope this helps.

I generally get to 180 miles before I have to switch to reserve. I have the single carb conversion but I am not sure of the sprocket size. I did go up a size in tires but my speedometer seems fairly accurate. Tachometer is dead though.

Thank you very much for the reply :D I havent checked the sparkplug yet. Me and my brother-inlaw are busy setting the carb. Could it be that the fueling screw on the carb is open to much?
