Finally pics of recent purchase , I have now renewed the clutch thrust bearing complete and all seems well . As previous report the thrust bearing was collapsed after , I suspect , being on the sidestand for a few years and condensation setting in to destroy it , I found " salad cream " ( I can't spell mayonnaise !) in the clutch cover. Any way I hope the pics are of interest , I am off for a ride , cheers , Ian. p.s excellent service from Grahams re: spares , they arrived in 2 days from order .

I'm sure I've seen that bike twice on eBay. Am I right?

Is it running right now? These things are truly fun to ride.

Yes all seems good ( touchwood ) . The bike is great to ride as you say , do you have a Skorpion also ? . It handles really well in my opinion and will crack on if you want it to , although I think a little mechanical sympathy is in order , the old girl is heading to a semi retirement , much like myself I suppose ! .Got to be a keeper along with my E T Z 250 , albeit in bits at the moment having a re-furb .cheers , Ian.

Very nice looking bike, a Tour I take it. The handlebar fairing looks like it came off one of the later Saxons maybe ?

Excellent machines.

MuZ Skorpion Tour, ETZ 300 or two (one with a sidecar - really insane mode of transport), a couple of TS125s, ETZ 125, BMW R100S and an Enfield Interceptor for daily use.
(some of them work too).

Yes I've one too. It's my second one as I realised I never should have sold the first one. There is just something about simple bikes in primitive form, just a no gimmicks and a precision handling

Lovely bike you have there , I have to agree with your statements , no gimmicks and simple enough to look after , I wish I had one before , just been out again for another ride and any excuse to do the same.....

I had a Tour for a short while and now run the Sport.

I must say that the Tour was a comfier motorcycle, which probably fitted me better whilst I find the Sport ............ Sportier.

I do think that the Saxon fairing looks right there.
