Skorpion Sport Silencer

Is anybody out there still selling an alternative to the standard silencer ?

Regards,

Richard.

I seriously doubt there is a bolt on option. If you want to do some basic fabricating on a new pipe mount, you can use an aftermarket silencer and mid pipe that will slide over your existing header. I put an FMF unit for an XR650R on my Traveller, then later added the racing header that is made for Skorpions by Projection Components. Sounded pretty nice after that but nothing compared to what it sounds like after the internal engine work. :D

These guys are in the UK and could probably tell you which can will work with their header, but I'm not sure if you are in the market to spend that much.

And here's the thread where I rigged up the Pro Circuit T4 for the XR650, not the FMF for the XR650R. My memory is going fast. :?

I've one of those headers but I've never good round to using it. They were designed and fitted round my actual bike strangely enough but it's still not fitted. The build quality is top!

I believe Ducati Monster 750 exhaust cans were a direct bolt on..

I have a set from a 620 monster sitting in the garage I can measure for you if you want. I should do that just for my own knowledge..
