Not sure of my number - was a ex racer and the plate was missing when I received it.

Hi droy,
Hope all is good with you.
Did you manage to contact anyone via FB regarding the numbers we found on the Replica panels and whether they are the same as the ID plate?
I found the same (47) on the underside of my seat hump.
Thanks & regards Ken.

John Gurley My replica's original plastic was crashed in races years ago. No help here, sorry.

Zac Seasly Looks like mine says 81, the replica plate is 196.

Douglas Roy Thanks Zac - the mystery continues. Based on what you know that was the original boby work correct?

Zac Seasly Douglas Roy yes, almost definitely the original bodywork

Hi guys, I have one in New Zealand, it is an ex Japan bike, done 9000kms. Missing tolbe top plaque but otherwise excellent condition. Has anyone a PDF of an owners manual? The info is scarce and I would like to give it a top to toe before riding

That a real nice example. One of the better I've see in a while. Too bad that the plate is missing.

Not that it impacts anything but your example has some few parts that are different from most that I've see, that I'd guess happened in Japan, this includes:

The front brake rotors/disks (are there any part numbers on them)? They may be 94 TZ250 rotors that are rumored to fit.

The rebound (black bit) on top of the forks

Suppertrapp exhaust (it looks great)

I think the clip-ons are also different

I'll add you to the Registry list

BTW - Get on FB - the "MZ Skorpion Appreciation Society" page has all the manuals and other info

Hello fellow MZ riders,

I am Mark, the owner of Replica #106.
Another Dutch Replica owner asked me to check the numbers on my panels because his bike does not have the number on the top yoke.

I maybe have to disappoint you all but the numbers on my panels (26) do not match the bike number (106) :(

Hi Mark, welcome!

Replica #106... smullen!

Thanks for the info, and I'll surely be crying myself to sleep tonight, trying to deal with this disappointment.

Mark,

Thanks for checking.

Unlike Puff I happy to see this info!!

At this point I can guess that they were not very organized at the factory and installed the "Replica Number Plates" after the assembly was complete so they don't match. I'd hope that each set of body work/plastic have the same numbers!
