Baghira Clutch Cable Route

Can someone please advise me on the correct route for a baghira clutch cable?,moreso in the header pipes area,some close up pictures would be good if possible?,it's that long ago when i stripped the bike that i can't remember where the cable went,it looks like it should run inbetween the two headers/downpipes but i'm thinking the heat would destroy it within minutes (?)

The joys of having a bad memory & rebuilding a bike that there is no workshop manual available for......

Thank you,very much appreciated!,before seeing these pictures i actually guessed the cable would route between the 2 header pipes so i did that....i fired the bike up a few days later & the heat off the header pipes melted the brand new clutch cable,it doesn't figure!?
