Hello everyone,

My Name is Ken and I'm new to this forum, purchased a 125SM last year from Drew and the bike runs great.
I'm considering removing the airbox and replacing with a pod, looks like a bit of a task to remove - no biggy
I have all the tools. Just want pros/cons on changing from modified air box to a pod?

Let me know....

Thanks,
Ken

worthless waste of time and money
the 125cc bikes use the same filter
that the 660 cc bikes breath through
any mods i have tried on my rt125 made it go slower and use more gas
you want to go faster get some thing over 500cc and be done with it
one of the rotax powered mz bikes works good if you can find one
not to happy with my 660 traveller as its carb is always screwed up
with dirt and water in the gas

Not too sure about losing power, I cleaned the stock filter yesterday took it for a short scoot, was able to hit 72mph usually
tops out around 65mph and the bike starts easier in the cold. Since the bike has a 28mm flatslide carb my thoughts are too
much fuel not enough air and with the pod or UNI air filter should lean out the bike a bit.....
