Is the exhaust OEM or aftermarket? Why did you fit a bigger jet? I think the maximum these bike will go is about 65 MPH. If you want to go faster either buy a bigger bike or get it tuned up. I used to ride a ETZ251 they are the ideal size for commuting and a little bit extra power. I passed my test on a ETZ125 and I found it OK.

one thing with older bikes with points in the ing system
is if there old the return spring may be weak in the points
and they will "float". limiting engine rpm
old bmw bikes are bad about this when they have set for a long time
or some one replaces points with new old stock where the spring has been coiled
for 35 years i have a whole box of r75/5 points that are worthless the spring has been coiled up since
1972
put them in a bike it will start and run but any engine speed above 3000 rpm is wishful thinking
they do not close properly so bad spark

had an old yamaha 1966 125 2 smoker ran good but 55mph was about the best it would do

i sold this bike working but now have another ,this time im going to keep it as these things seem to grow on you,and i love the weird sound.

i gave up all my cz stuff now to concentrate on these machines as you can get nearly every part new ,nice where cz is getting too hard to find stuff.
