ES 150 - LITTLE END BUSH to NEEDLE?

Postby Throwley » Wed Jan 17, 2024 7:34 am

Following the insurance companies' refusal to insure my ES modified down to 125cc, it's back as a 150.

Unfortunately, due to what I think was a lean mix failure (due to blued downpipe) I need to replace the little end bush. Now I'd prefer a needle little end, but looking at bearing catalogues, there's nothing available to fit to a bushed l/e in place of the thin bronze bush. Am I missing something? Is there actually a needle brg available to swap in?

Secondly, given that I'll have to refit the plain bush, what's a good way to drill the oil holes? There's limited access to the underside (and I sold my set of angled windy drills to fund another purchase) so are there any tips and tricks for making this drilling?
TS125 and ES150, but still with ES250 aspirations
