its not bar oil that whats we call the junk we oil the wood cutting chain with when cutting fire wood
its 2 stroke oil for the motor on the saw
the little motors that is

Interesting but now there's an odd bracket just hanging...
Paint it black?
I had a look and thought it interesting that your tank had rubber stand offs to protect metal on metal contact- which is why I had a look at mine and realised that I have the welded on bracket on my tank from my 251 but the rubber foot is missing- hence why I had metal contact and rust on the frame greet me when I took my tank off in May 2020.

I'm curious as to how you contructed (if you did ?) the bottle holder.. Welded metal brackets?

An other advantage of running premix is that the fuel cap seal works better. I cut my fuel cap seals out of leather because I find modern fuels bugger up the rubber seals. The oil in premix keeps the leather supple.
