Puffs - well remembered with the Himalayan, yes that has turned out very nicely thanks.
Bought a new one and done nearly 5000 miles on it, does everything I wanted it to.
This is my 4th bike at the moment, currently have the TS, the Himalayan, my old H2 Triple and now a Triumph 865 Speedmaster so that me and the other half can go out and about on it, she had not been out on a bike since our Daughter was born, she is now 19 so my other half decided it was time to get back on the back of a bike.
Back to the TS, I have the front wheel out at the moment and I noticed that the bearings appeared to be very very stiff, once I removed the bearings both were fine - they spin perfectly OK but once you put them back and seat them in position they are very stiff. All I can put it down to is the length of the spacer - possibly a little too long so it is pushiing on the inner races, no idea of knowing if it the correct spacer or not, any idea how long the spacer should be, or any thoughts as to what is causing the problem.
Couple of pictures of the TS.....
