Hi I am andrew from Powys Wales.
I have a black Mz 1000s and its fab.
Its goes well over 150mph.
Much faster than my 10 2 stroke vintage bikes that I have in my collection.

Is the 1000s in a fire sale?

Postby sapperk9 » Thu Jan 12, 2006 10:53 pm

Look at this....

http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/8/1/82249081.htm

$US9000 about $AU12000!!!!

Is the 1000s in a fire sale before an abandonment by the Hong Leong Gp?? Or is this just to get rid of 2005 models?

I think the whole issue of distributor closing has dealers biting their finger nails. Time will tell how it all shakes out. If I were in the market to spend $10000 on a bike, I would definitely consider the mz 1000.

Which Tyres you can buy? My favorite Tyre is the Continental Road Attack or Bridgestone BT020. Longlife and good glue on the street ;)

MZ 1000S

Postby bimotabob » Fri Mar 24, 2006 5:02 pm

My 1000S is decked out with the Touratec saddlebags and tank bag and has done an actual 137.7 mph verified with gps. Without the excess drag I am sure she will run 150 mph. I have had the bike almost a year and it never ceases to amaze me. The slickest shifting transmission in motorcycling. By the way mines silver.
