if the piston at the foot pedal is not retracted all the way when your foot is not on the pedal---
new fluid can not enter the system from the
Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir check pedal adjustment
and the rt125 is a hard one to get the AIR out of the system

it might help if you flush the system out with fresh fluid. ive been struggling for about a week to get good
pressure. flushed the system through(about 4 reservoirs worth) tightened up the bleed screw and presto! back brake is solid. :-D

and because your replacing the fluid, it gets all the air out.

have you changed the seals mate??

as i said above i had flushed it out last night.
checked it today and was soft again. changed the seals, bled the system to death and now its solid.

how is the calliper itself?.
if its scored on the inside then it can let fluid through
