hi Dave,

thanks for your help but either Im blind or can't find any service manual on that website..

The thing is my fan doesn't work at all and don't know where to put my hands and start up.. I do appreciate your willingness to do a scan of a few pages but guess it might not work in my case. Do you think it would be possible to send me a disk with that manual ?? Obviously, I will give you money back for the postage and your commitment;) or perhaps you remember where did you get it from ?

grahams are the parts guys they sell a printed copy but you need to ask ian

and the fan on my rt125 very seldom runs but the one on the 660 traveller makes up for it

it's quite difficult to say whether my fan is broken or not. warmed up the engine, both coolers were hot (checked that by touching them) and the fan didn't start up.. therefore I'd prefer to experience that it's working in a garage than on the road

i am 'restoring' a 125sm myself and was conserned that the fan wasnt spinning.
someone on the board here told me that this is normal for an SM and in their case they never heard the fan kick in until radiator temp was much higher,
i gather its not something you can gauge by touch alone.

later on i confirmed that my fan kicked in only after some extended load on the engine.

maybe you can test the fan by applying correct voltage to it directly

my rt fan only kicks in when i stop and bs with a friend up the street on a 80deg f day not to often unless above 85 out side
the 660 fan seems to run at the drop of a hat
