It is clearly poor fuel supply. The correct color is coffee with milk.
Poor gasoline-air mixture is the most dangerous since it greatly raises the temperature and is prone to seizure.

I've run pre-mix on both my ETZ's without rejetting, for collectively 37,000 miles. The original ETZ250 service manual gives the same size jets and makes no note at all between the pre-mix and the injection model.
